We're absolutely delighted to announce that our ever-popular reclaimed pine flooring is now back in stock – and this time it's available in three fantastic widths: 115mm, 165mm, and 205mm.
These beautiful reclaimed pine floorboards have flown out the door every time we've had them, and it's easy to see why. Carefully salvaged from old industrial buildings, mills, and warehouses, each board is packed with the authentic character that only time and history can provide – knots, nail holes, subtle cracks, and that gorgeous mix of warm honey, pink, yellow, orange, and grey tones that make every floor completely unique.
Often crafted from reclaimed redwood joists (which is why you'll sometimes hear it called reclaimed redwood flooring), this is the same slow-grown, resin-rich timber that was used throughout Victorian, Edwardian, and Georgian properties. It's tighter-grained and far more hardwearing than modern pine, with a depth of colour and figuring that new wood simply can't replicate. Whether you're matching existing Victorian pine flooring in a period renovation or bringing genuine period charm to a contemporary home, these boards deliver that perfect lived-in, timeless feel.

The three widths give you complete flexibility:
115mm – perfect for smaller rooms, hallways, or creating a more intricate, traditional layout
165mm – our most popular width, giving that classic Victorian pine flooring proportion most period homes originally had
205mm – wide, bold boards that make a stunning statement in larger spaces and open-plan areas
All boards are 20mm thick, supplied planed smooth with tongue & groove profiles (straight edge available on request), and in random lengths between 1–4 metres. As with all our reclaimed flooring, expect those lovely imperfections that tell the story of the timber's previous life – they're what make the finished floor so special.

This latest batch has that wonderful warm, honeyed appearance that develops even more beauty once oiled or sealed, and because the timber is so dense and resinous, it will last for generations – just like the original Victorian pine floorboards it often replaces.

Stock is limited and already moving fast, so if you've been waiting for reclaimed pine floorboards (or reclaimed redwood flooring) in these exact widths, now really is the time to order.

Comprehensive Overview of the Reclaimed Pine Flooring Restock
Harrogate Flooring has consistently specialised in sourcing and manufacturing the highest-quality reclaimed timber, with particular expertise in pitch pine and reclaimed pine/redwood flooring. The latest restock addresses one of the most frequent customer requests – the return of reclaimed pine floorboards in the three widths that suit the vast majority of period and modern installations: 115mm, 165mm, and 205mm.
This reclaimed pine flooring is produced from genuine reclaimed redwood beams and joists salvaged from Victorian and Edwardian industrial buildings across the UK and Europe. The timber (historically known as "red deal" or "redwood" in the trade) is the very same species used for original Victorian pine flooring, which explains why it matches existing boards in period properties so perfectly. Slow-grown over 100–150 years ago, it is considerably denser, more stable, and richer in resin than today's fast-grown plantation pine, resulting in tighter grain, deeper colour, and exceptional longevity.
Every board displays the authentic marks of its previous life: original saw marks, nail holes, small cracks, knots, and natural colour variation ranging from pale straw and pink through to deep amber, orange, and occasional grey weathering. These are not the flaws – they are the features that give reclaimed pine flooring and reclaimed redwood flooring their irreplaceable warmth and personality.
The three available face widths provide genuine choice:
| Width | Best suited for | Typical appearance & feel |
| 115mm | Smaller rooms, hallways, intricate layouts, or matching very narrow original boards | Delicate, traditional, busy pattern |
| 165mm | Most Victorian/Edwardian originals, medium-sized rooms, balanced classic look | The "Goldilocks" width – just right for most period homes |
| 205mm | Larger/open-plan spaces, modern interiors wanting bold period character | Dramatic wide-board look with maximum impact |
All boards are supplied at approximately 20mm thickness, planed all four sides, with precise tongue & groove (or square-edge on request). Random lengths 1–4+ metres ensure minimal waste and a natural stagger when laid. As always, we recommend light sanding and finishing on site to bring out the full depth of colour and protect the surface for decades to come.
This particular batch has an especially warm honey tone throughout, with some boards showing beautiful resin ripples and figuring that catch the light perfectly once oiled. It is ideal for anyone restoring original Victorian pine flooring, extending an existing floor, or simply wanting the most authentic reclaimed floor available in the UK today.
Demand for these exact widths has been extremely high throughout 2025, and previous batches sold out within weeks. We therefore advise ordering promptly or requesting samples to secure your requirements.
