Reclaimed Redwood Pine Flooring

Our reclaimed redwood pine floorboards are cut from old joists and beams salvaged from historic buildings. This slow-grown timber is denser, more stable and full of natural character – ideal for period properties or anyone who wants a solid wood floor with genuine history and depth.

These boards are planed smooth and flat, ready for a light final sand after installation, while still showing the attractive grain, knots and authentic marks of reclaimed timber.

Available Widths

  • 140mm – classic, more traditional proportion
  • 165mm – popular mid-width option
  • 205mm – wider board for a bolder, more contemporary look

Why Choose Reclaimed Redwood Pine?

Reclaimed redwood pine comes from older, slow-grown timber. It has a tighter grain and greater density than modern plantation pine, making it more hardwearing and stable. The natural imperfections and rich colour variation give each board real character that new wood cannot replicate.

This flooring is particularly well suited to matching or replacing original Victorian and Edwardian pine floors, or for creating an authentic traditional look in both period and contemporary homes.

Reclaimed pitch pine used to make wooden flooring

Why reclaimed pine?

We make our reclaimed pine flooring from beams and timbers salvaged from old buildings. This older timber was grown more slowly than modern wood, resulting in tight-grained pine floorboards which are more hardwearing and long-lasting.

Reclaimed pine floorboards are ideal for period properties, particularly if you’re trying to match or replace Victorian pine floorboards or Edwardian pine flooring. It’s full of character, with knots, nail holes and cracks, in-keeping with older houses requiring a more traditional look.

Our reclaimed pine flooring also boasts a beautiful mix of colours - pinks, greys and yellows!

Machine used for tongue and groove flooring

Tongue & groove or straight edge?

A tongue and groove edging helps to line floorboards up when laying your flooring and prevents draughts due to the snug fit. As the boards are interconnected, it also strengthens the finished flooring.

Straight edge floorboards are a little quicker to install and can be retrofitted more easily than tongue and groove flooring.
