Our new planer-moulder cutter blocks arrived recently and we wanted to explain a little bit more about one of the new features we’re adding to our tongue and groove pine flooring and oak flooring.
We’ll now be adding a tapered edge to the tongues of our pine floorboards and oak floorboards, which makes them easier to slot together when laying your floor. It’s just a small detail but it makes a difference during installation.
It also gives a little relief on the end of the tongues which ensures a nice tight fit on the surface of your pine flooring or oak flooring.
