Western Red Cedar cladding – Classic Canadian Western Red Cedar boards with extended tongue and groove edging that creates clean single, double or triple shadow gaps. Known for its natural stability, attractive colour variation (pinky reds, browns, lighter tones and deeper chocolate shades) and excellent natural decay resistance. Left untreated it weathers gracefully to a soft silver-grey and offers a service life of 35 years or more.
Ayous Thermowood cladding – Heat-treated Ayous hardwood boards that combine a clean, modern appearance with enhanced stability and durability. The chemical-free thermal modification process gives the timber properties comparable to higher-end softwoods while remaining lightweight. Soft, even grain patterns and a clear grade deliver a contemporary look that suits both traditional and modern architecture.
Pine Thermowood cladding – Thermally modified redwood pine boards offering excellent value without compromising on performance. The same heat-treatment process improves dimensional stability and durability (Class 2), making this an affordable yet reliable choice for exterior cladding projects of all sizes.
All three products feature:
- 78 mm and 124 mm face widths
- 18 mm thickness
- Shadow gap profile (approximately 10 mm)
- Tongue and groove edges for straightforward installation
- Typical lengths of 2–5 metres (most commonly 2.5–3 m)
- Sustainable sourcing with PEFC certification where applicable
